Heat pipes are customized products used to transfer large amount of heat at a very low temperature drop. Heat pipes are mainly used to transfer heat from the generating component to another region where the heat can be dissipated or to isothermally distribute concentrated heat on the base of heat sink so as to reduce the its thermal resistance without changing any other parameter. Heat pipe are made mainly from copper tubes which can be flattened to enable their embedment in the product. Anti-Gravity for vertical heat pipes with the cold end , the condenser is at the bottom , Ultra-Thin for miniature compo- nents , Low and high Temperature for temperature below zero or above the 100 Celsius utilizing special liquids, flexible for moving parts etc.

Vapor chambers operates as an extended heat pipe with large foot print and small thickness used in transferring heat from plurality of components instead of using large number of heat pipes
